About Jacquie
Jacquie lives with her family in Chilliwack BC, close to the Vedder River. They all love the outdoors and can usually be found hiking, boating, riding, biking the river, or just getting out camping as often as possible. This is what drove Jacquie to pursue healthier, more sustainable practices in the interior design field through LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). LEED is the most widely used green building rating system in the world, and with this enhanced training and education Jacquie hopes to use her skills to make her community a more healthy, thriving, and sustainable place to be.
Jacquie is an accredited Interior Designer with a passion for sustainability and wellness design. She obtained her Interior Design diploma through Rhodec International, an internationally accredited Interior Design and Arts Education program. She is actively working toward becoming a LEED Green Associate. This will arm her with advanced knowledge in the design and construction of healthy homes that use fewer resources and produce less waste. Jacquie is also a current member of the Canada Green Building Council, which offers her more educational opportunities and resources to move forward in the industry toward a more sustainable and resilient future.
